Tips and Tricks for Gaining Twitter Followers

• Being active on Twitter. The more active you are on twitter the more likely others will follow you and find you. Create topics and let others interact with you through that tweet. Leave a decent amount of time between tweets, tweeting too often will usually cause you to lose followers.
• Interacting with other Twitter users. The more actively you engage with other followers on twitter the more likely people will take the time to click on you and see if your worth following. Reply to tweets you can actively participate in on peoples twitters you don't follow or know. The point of twitter is to share your ideas and get ideas.
• What to Tweet. Tweeting your thoughts and what your doing is fun and entertaining but thats not going to gain you followers and keep them active on your tweets for long. I know its fun to tell the world that your eating a taco for dinner, but your not giving any value to your followers in any way. You need to give your followers insight and value. You need to keep your followers coming back to check your twitter and want to know what you have to say. Make your conversations and tweets matter.
• Follow people who are like you. If you love technology, follow other technology twitters and technology lovers. Engage in there tweets and they are most likely going to notice you and if your tweets have value to them, follow you. Put interests and write a little bit about you in your bio, keep it short and simple. So when other users "creep" on you they get an idea of what your Twitter is all about. 
• Asking for Retweets. Having your Tweet retweeted adds to the amount of people who see your twitter on the network. Adding "Retweet Please" or "RT" at the end of a post can give your follower a little reminder to retweet you. But doing this too much can annoy people cause you to lose followers. So do this occasionally. 
• Use Hashtags. Using Hashtags is a way to find Twitter users with similar interesting and to increase the amount of people that will see you tweet. Creating tweets based on the tweets that are popular and trending on Twitter at the time are the best way to get noticed. 
• Un-following People. Once and Awhile it is good to check who hasn't followed you back on Twitter. There are plenty of apps in the App Store that are good for this. The first limit you will notice is when you follow 2000 people and you don't have 2000 followers. Once you get 2000 followers you will be able to follow more until the next limit, but until then you need to unfollow some of the people not following you back to keep following people with the same interests. 
• Tweet at Peak Times. Tweeting at times when your followers are online and active increases your chances drastically to be found on twitter and interacted with. Business times are the best times to tweet, tweeting at 3 in the morning is not going to help you gain followers and be interacted with.

Theres a lot of weird tips and tricks to Instagram that I've found to work:

• Hashtags can help you attain users who are searching for a particular type of photo. There are certain Hashtags that thousands of people will search throughout the day. They like the photos or follow the person hoping to receive a like back or follow back. The hashtags I have found that work the best are. (Instagram is starting to catch on and block some of the hashtags, so try these below)

• Follow Other Users! When using instagram the best way to get your account around is by following other users. There are apps that will help you mass follow and quickly follow large amounts of users. Apps that I have found to work the best are Followers+ and InstaMate. Both free in the app store. When your following has reached 7500 start unfollowing users that are not following you back using the apps I mentioned. Recently Instagram has set a cap for how many people you can follow to 7500 so don't try and follow more because it wont work unless you were already following more then 7500 before the cap was set. Using the apps you can follow/unfollow anywhere from 150-350 per hour. 

• Make Sure Your Account is Public. Most of these methods will not work efficiently if your account is set to private. So go into your setttings under privacy and make sure "Photo's Set to Private" toggle is OFF.

• Follow Shoutout Accounts.  These accounts are a quick way to get noticed and get around Instagram. Most of there Followers are people that will Mass Follow and always follow you back. So find these accounts by searching "shoutouts" or "follow back" in the users or hashtag search. 
• Use Editing Apps. There are many different apps for editing pictures you can find in the app store. These apps will help add more creativity and make your photos look better and more appealing to other Instagram users. Apps like PicCollage, Diptic, Photo Wonder, PicFrame, Space Effect, and Photo Wizard. There are many more just explore the app store!
• Search Hash Tags: Say your a skateboarder, and most of your Instagram pictures include skateboarding. If you search in the hashtags: Skateboard, Skateboarder, Skateboarding, and so on, you will find other people that have Instagrams like yours. Like there pictures and find other people and like there pictures. Alot of these people will follow you because you have the same interest. 

• Geotag your photos. People like to know where your picture was taken or where you are from. Instagram will bring up other photos from the same locations other accounts have tags. This means other accounts that are posting in that location have a chance of seeing you photo and account.
